Clifton Cottage is ideally situated close to all amenities and a warm and friendly welcome will be given to our guests. The name Tyndrum , comes from the Gaelic ‘Taigh an Druim’ which means ‘House on the Ridge’. Tyndrum has two railway lines, and is the smallest town in Britain to be serviced by two railway stations. The Lower Station goes to Oban and the Upper Station goes to Fort William then on to Mallaig. On arrival you have completed 47 miles and passed the half way mark before continuing your adventure

Clifton Cottage is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking facilities are provided at three decking areas offering fantastic scenic views in our spacious garden
Guests can arrive anytime after 11am, however it is advised that you phone in advance as this may be a shopping day to restock groceries’ and to do this we require to go to either Oban or Stirling. On those occasions the premises may be closed up to 4pm. Should you arrive and no one is available please phone 07456 047134 for a update
